Consumption,Production,Distribution and Sales

Mokichi Okada, known as Meishu-sama, says that the most important thing for human health is to eat fresh crops which is full of life and has no harmful chemical residue, such as pesticides. Based on this philosophy, he advocated and developed Nature Farming, which utilizes the power of soil to its maximum to grow crops without using pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and he promoted this farming method energetically.

In 1985, the International Nature Farming Research Center (INFRC) was established as a foundation to further promote the farming method. In 2000, the INFRC was accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan as a registered certifying body of the Organic JAS (Organic Japanese Agriculture Standard). The INFRC has an agricultural experiment station in Hata-machi, Nagano Prefecture, and other experimental farms in Chiba and Kyoto. Today farmers practicing Nature Farming have spread nationwide. They grow rice as well as various vegetables and fruits, and their products are sold at ordinary grocery stores. In Brazil, various vegetables and cereals are grown in Nature Farming on vast farmland, and in Thailand rice and vegetables are grown on a total of 100,000 hectares of farmland. In Angola, Nature Farming has begun in a 274-hectare farm. Nature Farming is now practiced around the world.

Zuiun, Inc., an affiliated company, has also been actively operated for the happiness of people in distributing and selling Nature Farming products and natural food as well as natural cosmetics and various publications.
